What Can you expect at a Green Day concert?

Green Day are one of the best live bands in the world and this is due to their shows being amazing both due to the on stage performances but also how lively the fans are. In respect to age of crowd, the Green Day crowd is likely to be mainly under 21. There will be a mosh pit and there more than likely will be the odd fight but that is usually due to people having drunk too much. Overall though green day fans are a good buynch who really want to have fun. We would not suggest you wear shorts.

If you get to the green day show early say 2 to 3 hours before the gates open you should get a pit pass ( depends on how the tickets are sold ) sometimes tickets are sold for this area called something like Gold Circle. Once in this area your be right at the front with the mosh action but it is possible to go to the back of this pit area and still see the band. If you are in the pit there is a chance you might get sprayed by Billie Joe with a hose, and with Green Day themed confetti. Check out the video of the confetti moment during a show in Rotterdam Holland

Also Billie Joe always gets members of the crowd up on stage to sing songs with him or play guitar. So get up the front for the chance of this happening.

The Green Day concert shows are usually a long set list, never usually shorter that 2 and half hours, Fireworks, Plenty of dressing up and crowed interaction

Every Green Day show is different, but i remember my first green day show and I was hooked and I always looking to see when they are coming back to the UK to play another show. You can expect the following screaming, water guns, t shirt guns, confetti, TP gun. if green day play hitchin a ride you might get a little naughty action from billie (: its going to be awesome you wont have to worry just iif you are going to be in the pit try to stay close to the wall so that you dont get pushed around too much. you might get a little squished at first but its all worth it.

Green Day shows are so much fun, there is also a lot families there with kids and parents even! Green Day following includes people who have been fans since they started to kids who are picking up on Green day for the first time. There will probably be some friends moshing with each other but most of the people on the floor are there to stare at them. I know all I wanted to do was see them as much as a possible could. It’s mostly just jumping in place, fist pumping, and screaming.

How early should you get to a Green Day Concert to get to the front

How to get front of Green Day Concert

As we discussed in our last Green Day Q&A watching them right at the front so how early do you need to get there to get as closer to the front of the stage a possible. If you have standing tickets how early do you need to get there if the concert starts at 8 pm.
General advise would be to get there around 3pm, but some queue from as early as Midday ( 12:30 ish) the doors are likely to pen around 4pm, and what ever you always push your way through the crowd to get to the front to see Billie
Green Day is an extremely popular band. You would need to get there at least 8-10 hours early to be at the barrier. Real hard core fans arrive like at 7AM for a show in the evening with more turning up around a hour after, by 10am there is likely to be around 75 people in line. How early have you arrived for a Green Day Concert

WHat ever you will need to get there a few hours early to get parked and get in. WHat you need to keep in mind with the pushing and shoving you are not going to be able to stay right at the front and chill. If you need loo etc you will need to move and get you way back tothe front again.
It all depends on the show you are going to we have seen reports of people going to a show in Philadelphia and getting there at 1pm and there was only 15 others there, and by 3pm it was busy.
